Enquire nowSome work takes you into places where most people wouldn’t set foot – underground tanks, deep pits, tight access spaces with poor airflow. When it comes to high-risk confined space work, there’s no room for “I think it’s fine.”
Our Level 2 Award in Working in High Risk Confined Spaces helps you work smarter and safer. Over three days, you’ll build real skills, get hands-on with the gear, and learn what to do when things go wrong – before they do.
It’s aimed at people who:
Typical attendees include site operatives, maintenance crews, supervisors and contractors – especially in construction, water, and industrial sectors.
You’ll cover everything needed to work confidently and legally in high-risk confined spaces, including:
It’s a practical course – not just policies and paperwork.
You’ll leave confident, capable, and ready for real jobs.
If you work in tight spaces where hazards are high and time matters, this course is worth having. Drop us a message, tell us where you’re based, and we’ll sort the rest – simple as that.

Yes – this isn’t a theory-only setup. You’ll wear breathing apparatus, use gas monitors, harnesses, and other kit you’d expect to see on site.
Yes – if you’re also going in. If your job is just managing the entry and staying outside, you might be better on the Top Person course. We can point you to the right one.
Three days. When you finish, you’ll have a Level 2 Award in High Risk Confined Spaces – recognised across the UK as proof you’ve had proper training.
There’s no fixed expiry, but most companies ask for a refresher every couple of years. We offer shorter top-up courses too.
Yes. If you’ve got the space and a group ready, we can come to you anywhere in the UK. If not, you’re welcome to train with us in the East Midlands.
