While we work heavily with those in the construction industry, this course is for everyone, provided you’re over 16 and ready to learn. There’s no need for any first aid experience – we start with the basics and build from there.
How long is the first aid at work certificate valid for?
Upon completion of this course, your first aid at work certificate will be valid for three years. When your work first aid certificate has expired, we recommend taking our first aid at work requalification course to ensure you maintain your certification.
Do I need any equipment?
No, you don’t need to bring anything. We’ll supply all the training tools and course material you’ll need.
Where is this course delivered?
We teach this course at our Northamptonshire centre and at various locations around the country. We can also arrange on-site work first aid courses for businesses and other organisations.
Is there an exam?
No, there’s no exam. Instead, your trainer will assess your performance throughout the practical tasks.
Is this different from the emergency first aid at work course?
Yes, the two courses are different. This three-day first aid at work course covers the full range of medical incidents you could encounter while working, from emergencies to more routine injuries. The course on emergency first aid at work focuses on saving lives in emergencies and lasts a day.
