How Long is the Paediatric First Aid Training?

There are two options for our paediatric first aid course. There is a 6-hour course, which is entirely classroom-based, or a paediatric first aid 12-hour course, which can be fully classroom-based or split between online and classroom.

Should you choose the blended paediatric first aid course, you’ll have the luxury of completing the online component in your own time. You’ll then spend a full day learning practical skills with a qualified instructor.

While the 12-hour course is a more detailed overview of paediatric first aid, both courses will include:

  • A workbook to take home
  • A practical assessment of your skills
  • A paediatric first aid certificate

Both formats can be taken at our training centre in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. We also offer paediatric first aid courses throughout the country, plus on-site training is available for larger groups.
