Enquire nowHas your SWQR card recently expired? Or is it about to run out? If so, you’ll need to undergo SWQR card renewal if you want to continue working within streetworks legally.
At CPTS, we offer the NRSWA streetworks operative and supervisor reassessment course, providing everything needed to keep your qualifications current. It must be taken every 5 years if you want to continue working.
Please note that this course is only suitable for individuals who currently hold or have recently held an SWQR card. If you’ve not held a card of this type, you’ll instead need to complete our NRSWA operative course or streetworks supervisor course.
To learn more about SWQR card renewal, please get in touch today. You can call us on 01234 604151 or email via office@cpts.uk.
What you learn during the streetworks ticket renewal course depends on whether you’re an operative or a supervisor.
Operative NRSWA Renewal:
Supervisor NRSWA Renewal:
Regardless of whether you’re an operative or supervisor, the SWQR renewal course will consist of a revision of topics, followed by an assessment. Both sections will take a day each, so the course is 2 days long.
Upon completion, you’ll receive your new SWQR card, which will be valid for another 5 years. This is issued by the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA).
A streetworks card lasts for 5 years. Once this 5-year period has passed, you’ll need to undergo reassessment to gain another card. If you fail to undergo this reassessment, you will not legally be allowed to work in streetworks.
Quite simply, anyone involved in streetworks needs to have the correct ticket. This not only includes the operators actually working on the road, but also anyone supervising them.
If you’re unsure whether your role requires an NRSWA ticket, please get in touch today, and we’ll discuss the requirements with you.
Many streetworkers and their supervisors from around the country choose CPTS for their NRSWA courses, including their SWQR card renewal, and there are several reasons why. However, the primary reason is the quality of our teaching. All our courses are delivered by professionals with field experience, ensuring they not only know the theory but also the all-important practical aspects of the job.
We’re also hugely proud of our fantastic facilities. Our modern training centre is not only comfortable, but also offers all the tools and facilities needed to practice various aspects of streetwork, ensuring you’re confident when you receive your qualification.
And then there are the prices. We choose to keep our prices affordable, ensuring everyone can afford their NRSWA card renewal when they work with CPTS. But don’t think our affordable prices mean poor training, as this certainly isn’t the case – just ask our previous streetworks students!
