A one-day course lasting a minimum of 6 hours
Individuals responsible for assembly, dismantling, alteration, relocating, and inspecting mobile access towers with cantilevers, also known as cantilever towers
Current PASMA 'Towers for Users' Photocard and a strong understanding of working at height
Learn to safely assemble, use, dismantle, and relocate a standard mobile access tower with a cantilever, or cantilever tower, while understanding counterbalance calculations for kentledge of cantilever applications
Combination of theoretical and practical instruction
Closed book course requiring an 80% pass rate in both theory and practical sections
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):
Required protection during the practical session: Head, foot, eye, and glove protection, preferably a hard hat with a chin strap
Instructor-to-Participant Ratio: Maximum 1:8
• A suitable classroom for 8 attendees during the theoretical session
• An indoor/outdoor area with a minimum clearance height of 6 meters Supplementary Materials:
Course content and notes booklet and the current PASMA Code of Practice provided to all attendees
Successful participants receive a PASMA Certificate and Photocard, valid for five years
