Camioane basculante și utilizarea acestora în industria construcțiilor.

Dumper trucks are the primary truck vehicle used in construction for the transportation of material around the site. Though not as common as excavators, Dumper trucks are still very important machines used by operators and play a major role in every aspect of the construction process. So today, we’re going to tell you all about the different types of dumper trucks and what you need to know.

Different types of Dumper Trucks

Rigid Dumper Trucks These trucks allow you to transport large quantities of abrasive materials and rocks, are used for larger loads and are extremely durable and fast. This makes getting between construction sites and materials easy ideal for long hauls across flat terrain like mines and quarries, however, they usually only operate on open roads, since they aren’t that manoeuvrable in spații confinate.

Articulated Dumper trucks

These large heavy-duty dumper trucks are used to transport loads over rough Terrain, but they can’t cope with the same heavy loads as rigid dumper trucks. Dumpers are mainly used in mining, agriculture, heavy construction and roadway construction. These kinds of trucks need highly skilled operatives and so require extra training to operate correctly and safely.

Tracked Dumper trucks

These kinds of trucks can create a safer environment for other vehicles in the area, as they use their huge tracks to flatten the ground as they go. They also have great traction on boggy or muddy ground and can travel on steep inclines where a rubber tyre vehicle would spin out. They’re pretty heavily favoured in the early stages of construction because of this, especially since diesel engines and multi-speed transmissions ensure strength and durability.

Mini Dumper trucks

Mini dumper trucks are basically smaller versions of all of the above vehicles, and anyone can hire them as long as they have a category B licence. They’re simple to use and are usually deployed for home and garden projects.

How much can you earn as a Dumper Truck operator?

Driving a dumper truck is an incredibly rewarding experience, particularly if you’re working on the construction of homes. If you’ve got the right qualifications and training, you could be looking at a starting salary of between £23,000 and £35,000, the qualifications needed to include a CPCS licence to show you can be trusted with the machinery and a Cat C licence to show you can safely drive the vehicle.

If you need help in getting your very own Card CPCS then contactați Construction and Plant Training Service la 01234 604151 sau 0777 18 12 418 and our employee will help you every step of the way.
