Instalație de foraj is a construction device used to make holes in the ground, concrete, walls or other building materials. It works on the principle of a rotating drill, which removes parts of the material, creating a hole. Drilling rigs differ depending on their application, size and type of drive. They are used, among others, for geotechnical work, installation, construction of wells or preparation of holes for foundations. Depending on the specific task, drilling rigs can be equipped with various types of drills and diamond bits. They can be driven manually, electrically or hydraulically.
