Pick-up excavator

A pick-up excavator is a construction machine used to extract, move and unload bulk materials such as soil, sand, gravel or other loose materials. A characteristic element of the pick-up excavator is the pick-up, which acts as a shovel attached to the main arm. The pick-up is placed at the end of the excavator arm and can be adjusted vertically and horizontally. Pick-up excavators usually have engines that enable the machine to move and drive the pick-up. Pick-up excavators are commonly used in earthworks, road construction, mining and moving loose materials for short distances. They are an effective tool for handling and manipulating large amounts of materials.
