Soffit

Soffit

A soffit is a structural element used in construction and an ending of the roof slope. It’s mounted under the roof eave. Its purpose is to protect the roof structure from atmospheric factors such as rain or snow, as well as from pests. In addition, it performs aesthetic functions, visually complementing the roof and façade of the building. Usually made of wood, PVC or metal, a soffit can also be used to hide installations such as ventilation systems or external lighting. It is an important element in both modern and traditional construction, affecting the durability and appearance of the building.
