Plafon suspendat is a structure mounted below the original ceiling of the building, thus creating a technical space between them. Such a ceiling is often used to hide electrical, ventilation or air conditioning systems, and to improve the acoustics of the room, its thermal properties and interior aesthetics. Suspended ceilings can be made from various materials, such as plasterboards, mineral or metal panels, as well as various suspension systems. Suspended ceilings allow easy access to hidden installations and are relatively easy to install and disassemble. They are used both in commercial and private buildings. Modern technologies and materials allow to create suspended ceilings with different forms and shapes, which makes them an interesting element of interior design.
