Yes. The Load Unload course is a separate certification, specifically for those handling the transport of MEWPs. Even if you hold a PAL Card for operation (3A/3B), you still need this qualification to load/unload equipment legally and safely.

Yes. Successful participants receive an IPAF Load Unload certificate, and the qualification is recorded digitally in the IPAF ePAL app (or can be printed as a card upon request).
The IPAF Load Unload certificate is valid for 5 years. After that, you’ll need to take a refresher to stay compliant.
You’ll use real trailers, ramps and MEWPs – typically the same types used on UK construction sites. We focus on hands-on training that mirrors real jobsite conditions.
