H&S at work Act

Heath and safety at work act – called the HSWA for short is an official act passed by the parliament of the United Kingdom in 1974r., which regulates and enforces workplace health and safety under UK law. The Act defines the general duties of the employer, employee and contractors, and their role on the worksite. The act also created an oversight organisation called the health and safety executive to inspectorate construction sites and companies to make sure they are following the law and enforce the act’s provisions.
