Continuous tracks

Also known as tank treads or caterpillar treads, these tracks are a type of track running on a continuous band of treads or track plates driven by two or more wheels. Tracks even distribute the weight of the vehicle compared to steel or rubber tiles, which allows continuous tracks to move on soft ground with less likelihood of becoming stuck due to sinking.
