A slang word used in the construction industry for an electrician or somebody who works/operates electrical equipment. Electricians mainly install all electrical components on-site including lights, panels, light switches, sockets and heating. All electrical work must be completed by a skilled and registered electrician and cannot be done by any other contractors e.g engineers, as it is against the law and HSE regulation.
