NPORS S033 Construction Site Safety Supervisor Refresher Course

NPORS S033 Construction Site Safety Supervisor Refresher Course

Regulations move on – and as a supervisor, you need to move with them. Our NPORS S033 Construction Site Safety Supervisor Refresher Course keeps your knowledge sharp, your qualification valid and your site safe.

What this course covers

Keeping up with changes can feel like a job in itself – this refresher pulls it all together. We’ll walk through what’s new in UK health and safety law and highlight what’s shifted since your original S029 course. You’ll get a reminder of how to carry out risk assessments and method statements, but with a focus on current best practice. We also talk about real site risks like noise, dust, vibration, manual handling and working at height, plus updates on COSHH, RIDDOR and PPE rules. Fire safety, lifting operations, plant checks and leading a stronger safety culture all come into it too – always with a practical slant, not just theory.

Who it’s for

If you’ve been supervising people for a while and your S029 card is coming up for renewal, this course is for you. It’s aimed at site supervisors who want to keep their knowledge sharp and their paperwork in date. Team leaders and experienced operatives stepping into supervisory roles also find it useful for refreshing their safety approach and staying aligned with the latest standards.

How training works

Training is delivered as a clear, interactive session. Our instructors are experienced site supervisors who link every topic to real challenges you face on site. You’ll join discussions, work through case studies and complete both written and practical assessments.

Certification & renewal

On completion you’ll receive an updated NPORS S033 Site Safety Supervisor Certificate valid for five years. If you’ve passed the CITB Health, Safety & Environment (Supervisors) test in the last two years, your new card will also carry the ‘HS&E Tested’ logo.

Entry requirements

You need to hold a valid or recently expired NPORS S029 certificate and have experience supervising on construction sites. Photo ID is also required. If you’re unsure about eligibility, contact our team – we’ll check it for you.
